Discover the Beauty of Newfoundland

I hadn't imagined how beautiful and inviting Newfoundland is, until I began to discover it by exploring its many haunting and awesome attractions.

Newfoundland is on the far eastern side of Canada. The Atlantic ocean batters against the rocky shores and it is where lots of fishing goes on, night and day.

You can see the oldest lighthouse at Cape Spear, which has stood for 16 decades.

Visit St. John's and discover Water Street, apparently one of the oldest streets on the continent. Explore the beautiful harbour, where visitors anchored their ships 40 years before the Mayflower landed.
Have fun pub-crawling in the many colourful spots in the town.

Don't forget to take a stroll in Gros Morne National Park. This unique site has been acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage site because of its extraordinary beauty and unusual geological structures.

Marvel at the Tablelands, a 600-metre high plateau which shows one of the best exhibits of rock exposed from the earth's interior. This is rock that is only normally found in the depths beneath the ocean floor.

Newfoundland offers exquisite camping sites and a gorgeous coastline that will take your breath away.
There are many Bed and Breakfasts throughout this magnicant province.

The people of Newfoundland are known for their incredible and humouristic hospitality.
