Parenting the Young Sexually Abused Child is a guide for parents who have a child who has been sexually abused. Topics include normal sexual development of young children, indicators of possible sexual abuse of young children, believing the child, and helping the young child victim cope following disclosure. This book is also meant to be a resource for medical and clinical professionals.

About the Author
Lauri Nichols wrote this book while working as a therapist at The Rainbow Project, Inc. Rainbow is a non-profit agency located in Madison, Wisconsin. It provides therapy, advocacy, and case management for children and families affected by abuse, neglect, witness to domestic violence, and other stressors.
